Project mapping

Your Project maps to the Project KSBs. At Gateway, you'll submit a short summary of what your project will be and include mapping to the KSBs. When you submit your project report, you'll include a document which maps sections in your report to KSBs.

BCS provide a template project proposal which asks for information on:

  • The start and end dates of the project
  • A summary of the project (~500 words)
  • Mapping on how you'll meet each KSB

When you submit your project proposal, you'll write a sentence or two on how you'll meet each KSB. At this stage, you won't have begun work on your project and so you'll be making estimations on how you'll meet each KSB. Mapping ensures that your project has sufficient scope to meet every KSB. You can also use this as a reference while you work through the project to make sure you have met every KSB.

📄Project proposal document

When you submit your project report, you'll include mapping to every KSB again. In this document, you'll map specifically to sections (or pages) of your report. By completing this you'll ensure that your project has met every required KSB.
