Submitting qualifications
Level 2 English and Maths qualifications must be achieved before entering End-Point Assessment Gateway. An apprentice submits their certificates to Founders and Coders and we can validate them with the assessors.
Level 2 qualifications are equivalent to GCSE. An apprentice may have a record we can find on the Learning Records Service. This is not always the case, even for people who completed High School in the UK. We must provide documentation of these qualifications for an apprentice to be able to start their final project as part of EPA.
Anyone who has studied outside the UK would either need to get a Statement of Comparability from UK ENIC, or to sit the qualifications. English as a Second Language is not always counted as equivalent which means an apprentice may need to sit the assessment even if they have an ESOL qualification. FAC will arrange with each apprentice to support them through this process.
